Why Bulgaria

Bulgaria is totally unspoilt, it has beautiful scenery, lovely rivers, hills, ancient forests and mountains, the people are friendly, you will enjoy the traditional dance and the folklore songs and the sound of the pipes, the sun and the sea in hot summer, the snow, the burning stoves and the smoke coming from the chimneys in winter, the blossomed trees in the spring and the colorful carpet in the autumn. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauties of nature, to re acquaint yourself with your family by spending quality time together doing the sort of simple outdoor things you did as a child on holiday and in a beautiful and unspoilt environment.

There are many historical monuments showing the history and the proud character of the Bulgarians such as the churches and monasteries that kept the Bulgarian spirit alive during Ottoman influence.

Bulgaria, the birth place of ancient heroes and warriors like Spartacus, Orphey and many others has a million hidden treasures, Thracians relics, tombs, roman ruins, towns of ancient nations. The Bulgarian soil still keeps many secrets but has already given up many fascinating stories that are relatively unknown to the rest of the world.

Bulgaria has four seasons- Starting with a pleasant Spring with a variety of weather changes- for example snow, some rain, plenty of sun: Hot summers where the temperatures can reach over 40 degrees: Warm autumn with some rain and lovely colors, the autumn temperatures stay between 15 and 25 degrees, leading into winter. Winters might be very cold, might be mild, the temperature might get to minus 25 or just stay around minus 5-10 degrees. Bulgaria is a Winter Wonderland – deep snow, roofs covered in show, chimneys smoking, all is clear and pure. It is perfect for lovers of skiing and snowboarding.
The official time in Bulgaria is Eastern European Time, which is two hours ahead of Greenwich Time.

Nature:
