International Architecture Festival 2014
International Architecture Festival 2014 | Property Care Veliko Tarnovo - property management, renovation and repair, maintenance Sofia Architecture week (22nd November – 1st December) is an annual international festival for architecture which 6th edition this year will be held for the first time in Plovdiv. It has started like a two – day conference in September 2008 after which now it is a one – week platform for meetings and exchanging ideas in the district of the architecture, interior, land shaft and urban. The main aim of the event is to initiated a resistant architecture and social practice using a wide social and professional debate. The saturated and diverse program includes presentations, expositions, discussions, work shops, projections and influence in the city, and creative workshops for the smallest ones.
Every year Sofia architecture week presents the tendency in the contemporary architecture focusing on a specific topic. Last year the topic was “The city of the future”.
The organizers of the festival are ONE and the foundation “America for Bulgaria” and the institutional partner is municipal Plovdiv.
The speakers in the festivals are all over the world.
